Michael Nathanson has won the Carol Bolt Award of the CAA Literary Awards for his play Talk. Michel also won the Eileen McTavish Sykes Award for Best First Book of the Manitoba Book Awards and was nominated for the 2009 Governor General’s Literary Awards for the same play. Playwrights Canada Press would like to congratulate Michael and the rest of the nominees.
Playwrights RH Thompson and John Mighton were inducted into the Order of Canada on June 30, 2010. The appointments were announced by Governor General Michaëlle Jean. Playwrights Canada Press would like to congratulate RH and John for the honour.
